Mark or Mark? The answers

OK, here's the answers to the first annual Big Mark or Little Mark? game. (Patent pending.)

1. Mark fell asleep on the couch downstairs right away.
That's Big Mark. He came over and took a little snooze. Until Jack woke him up with a lick to the face.

2. Mark was really hitting the bottle. Now he's passed out.
That's Little Mark. He takes four ounces, then drifts into unconsciousness.

3. Mark is a Mets fan, no doubt about it.
So far, that's just Big Mark. But it's only a matter of time!

4. The doctor said Mark eats a lot for his age.
This one is Little Mark. The doctor was impressed a two-week-old can down four ounces of formula. Big Mark can only drink three ounces!

5. Mark threw a perfect game.
Trick question! That was Mark Buehrle!

6. Mark fell asleep with his mouth open and his arms folded across his chest this afternoon.
Another trick question! That's the preferred style of sleep for both Marks.

7. Mark has cute pajamas with frogs on the feet.
Tempting, but as far we know, this only applies to Little Mark.

8. When Mark was falling asleep, his hands kept hitting him in the face.
That would be Big Mark, who pulled his glasses off his face.

9. Mark sure doesn't have much hair, does he?
Obviously, this is Little Mark. After all, Big Mark has a mustache!

10. Mark has a dad named Matt.
Both Marks were saddled with strange but loving fathers named Matt Hanley!

11. Mark always falls asleep at family gatherings.
With very little track record for Little Mark to go on, the answer to this one is certainly Big Mark. (And we have the photos to prove it.)

12. Mark makes strange noises when he sleeps. But he never opens his eyes!
Both Marks! Little Mark makes all sorts of noises that make you think he's waking up, so you (well, Lynne, really) gets out of bed, rush over and find that he's still sound asleep. Reliable sources say Big Mark makes a flub-flub-flub noise when he sleeps.

13. Mark's diaper is full. Again.
Big Mark's not that old! This is definitely still Little Mark. It'll be at least a few years before Matt's ready to change those diapers.

Happy birthday Big Mark!

How'd you do?
0-5 correct. You're off your Mark.
5-8 correct. We'll Mark that as passing.
8-12 correct. You have achieved the Mark of excellence.
13 correct. A perfect Mark!
