Mark of Fridays: Baptism Sunday

We've temporarily fallen behind on Mark of Fridays postings because, apparently, Mark is not helpless when left alone. He's more than three months old and he hasn't even learned how to feed himself or change his own diaper. C'mon!

But we wanted to catch up on a recent big event: Mark's baptism.
A few Sundays back (was it just two weeks ago?!?) the Seagos and the Hanleys gathered at Woodridge United Methodist Church - home of some other cool events - for Mark's introduction to the Christian faith.
Now, there was some concern about the baptism gown.
One, would Mark like wearing what is essentially a dress or was he going to cry through the whole mass?
And two - since the gown is like a family heirloom and was worn by Matt's mom at her baptism and Matt at his baptism (and Megan and Sara and ....) - would Mark spit up all over it?
Well, Mark was happy as can be the whole time, even in front of a church full of people. Must be something about that God guy/gal/entity, that makes people feel good.
It was a wonderful day.
