The Rockies have somehow won 20 of their last 21 games. The Red Sox were down 3 games to 1 in the American League Championship Series, yet they came back and made the World Series. (The Indians should have brought back the gnats.)
But what's the best part of this year's World Series? Matt and Lynne have been to both stadiums the games will be played at.
They were at Coors Field on July 3, 2006 when his friends Eric "Shaft" and Stacey Miller got married in Colorado. A beautiful park and although this picture doesn't show it, you can see the real Rockies from deep right field. The park is somehow huge and imposing, but intimate at the same time. That day, they got to boo Barry Bonds and saw Brad Hawpe make two cannon throws from right field. The Rockies lost 9 to 6, but Todd Helton went deep, so that was pretty sweet. And after the game, there was an Independence Day fireworks show.Matt's heart? Rockies in four because it's a great story.
Matt's head? Beckett and Schilling are just too good. Sox in seven.
Anyhow, thanks for enduring this baseball break. We now return you to your regularly scheduled wedding planning.
"At the end of our last episode, Matt and Lynne were closing in on a date and place for The Big Day...."
