Mark of Fridays: Mark (and Anne) in the Park
Temps have been stuck in the 40s and 50s, but that doesn't stop Mark. He wants to be outside riding his bike and playing at the park regardless.
So a few weeks ago, we sent out a note to all of the Seagos in a ten mile radius telling them we were headed to the park. The result: 100% attendance.
And guess what else we learned? Delusions about the "spring" weather (or perhaps broken internal thermostats) seem common amongst the men in our family. To Pap and Mr. Martin, breaking 50 degrees is a cue to wear sandals.

To the person who invented allergies
Dear Person Who Invented Allergies,
What were you thinking? This was a completely unnecessary thing that you did. What was the point?
First, we're cooped up all winter in freezing weather. Then, when spring finally comes, you throw in the allergies. Runny nose, watering eyes - all of which serve no purpose that I can find.
Honestly, couldn't you find something better to invent? Here's a few suggestions: A pill that will allow you to sleep for just a half hour but feel fully rested. A spaceship that can get us to the moon and back in two days for less than $1,000. Handheld underwater metal detector.
Seriously, bad work, dude.
Most sincerely,
Matt

There's a barking Amish rat in the house
Now on his walks, people stop Lynne and offer to help pay for the medication Jack needs.
On the left is hairy Jack, who was always sweating and tongue hanging out. On the right is Buzz NoHair, the Mutant.
Matt still hates that dog. Even when he feels sorry for him.
